Additionally, the course is well structures, including a good mix of theory and practical assessment criteria. I have been a registered student of CAL for the last 2 - 3 years. The amount of support they shown me through some unforeseen circumstances that I have had has caused me to stop 🛑 studying and focus on what was happening in my personal life.I’m starting to come through that and I can just see a light at the end of a tunnel. I thought that after having paid off my tuition that I would not be able to complete the course that I intended on doing. However today I was informed by a wonderful staff member of CAL that I would be able to do that with some assistance through the student Hub.If you are thinking 🤔 things are impossible to do, remember if you only reach out and ask for help in anyway they will help you through. As someone that had not studied for over 20 years, the first feelings I had were very daunting. However, when I began my first unit and spoke to one of the coaches, saw the enormous amount of support behind me, this definitely eased my mine and enabled me to confidently progress my way through the units. Each and every coach was very supportive, the response time was wonderful and the the units easy to follow and work at my own pace (in between work and children).I would highly recommend CAL.

BUYER BEWARE. They will take your money and leave you to rot. Website is in absolute shambles, it is so hard to navigate. Nothing is organised. You don’t know where to start or where to finish. I lost $4k to a course I was enrolled in previously.Once you sign the contract, they will toss you aside, when you ask for a refund, oh whoopsie! We don’t do that! I don’t care about your incentives you offer me. You are scam artists, and I am going make sure australia knows you are.( I asked for a refund earlier than 30 days by the way.Following your reply - I was expecting you to reply the way you did, if countless more people said the exact same thing in the exact same way, then something is up.)You know why you say 16 months now? Look at my track record! Your course is so disorganised I left after 2 weeks! )If you want peace, you will refund the money I’ve paid, otherwise I have the right to tell everyone the truth about your company, including ombudsmen, and the ACCC to keep watch over your scams.

I’ve been doing a double diploma of Business at the College of Adult Learning (CAL), and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. Juggling my studies, work, and a new baby has been a challenge, but CAL has been super supportive every step of the way.They’ve allowed me to take deferrals and have given me special extensions when I’ve needed them. This flexibility has made it so much easier for me to focus on my family while still making progress in my studies.The coursework is practical and relevant, and I feel like I’m gaining skills I'll actually be able to use in my job. The instructors are friendly and approachable, which makes the learning experience even better. I’d definitely recommend CAL to anyone looking to further their education, especially if you’ve got a lot on your plate like I do.A special thank you to Tracey, you were so patient, understanding and helpful when I was speaking with you and seeking help. My experience studying HR at the College of Adult Learning has been generally positive. The course offers practical and detailed content that covers a wide range of important HR topics, although some of them should be reviewed for errors. Despite this, the flexibility of the course allowed me to manage my studies around other commitments, which I really appreciated. Marrissa, my coach, has been a standout throughout the program. Her knowledge and support have been incredibly valuable, and she has a knack for helping me navigate through challenging areas. While there’s room for improvement in the overall delivery of some materials, the coaching and support from Marrissa and the flexibility of the course make it a good choice for those looking to further their HR education.

I am a professional from the United States who came across RTO and the Australian Quality Skills Framework while searching by for online training courses that could validate my years of experience. VETs seemed like a perfect and affordable route for me!As someone with a background in workforce development, I was highly impressed with the depth and breadth of the training packages + their assessment requirements. Unfortunately that’s as far as me being impressed goes.While I give props to CAL for trying to provide a student experience that is attentive, they completely fail to provide and develop quality course content or resources. Although I’m a professional with 10+ years experience it would have been nice to learn new things but I could have fed ChatGPT the training package documents and had it curate a more detailed, specific and impressive curriculum.YouTube videos? Really? Not even your own content! Cmon. If I wanted to experience shady private higher education practices I would have stayed looking for education in the States.Lucky to have canceled within 30 days.

I would not suggest this company for future learning. I have adhd and they will make you feel comfortable up till you sign their contract and from there they will just take your money. To get help I would refer this to as jumping through hoops, speaking to someone who is clean English spoken is a must for myself but even if you request that they get annoyed. I believe not one person from this company is Australian based and they struggle with English. I have been waiting on return emails to fix this so I can study but have had no effort of care from them. I do not recommend this company

I was so nervous at completing study online for a new career direction. Fortunately, I found the best coach in the course for me (Kerri Waddell) after trying another coach who I found was most unhelpful in answering questions and supporting me. Kerri was so knowledgeable and worked with me to support me achieve my goals and progress through my course.The course content was very thorough, my only criticism of the course would be student learner packs with some errors and a lack of clear requirements at points, and some units had very stale discussion boards.Overall, I am happy with the course and support I received from CAL support team and Kerri my coach.

I had a very bad experience with this education organisation. My suggestion is to straight away check on the content of the course and see if it is to you liking and acceptance. Their assignment instruction for one of my assignments was 21 pages long and had to be done in 3 parts (3 seperate assignments to form one submission). Ensure you have enough time as they say you can finish the course in X amount of time and you will need X amount of hours per week, but the time investment is much more then what they "recommend"n when they are selling the course. They will not refund your money, so I lost 3500$$ - and there is a very aggressive unprofessional man who works in the accounts, he seems is very accustomed to dealing with people requesting refunds. He has attacked me on a personal level, many times and I have had to ask him to remain professional. This person even threatened me for legal action for "slander" because I shared my discontent for the institution. He is only an accountant for the company. I would not recommend this institution to anyone, I would stay away as look into other more friendly places and really pay attention the the quality of the content of the course, and the assignments that will need to be done. They mainly use youtube videos and a lot of information is repeated just in a different way by different YouTube videos, there is no an actual professor that leads the course, it is just information put together by someone, and not in a good way. It is really is disappointing to pay for a course and then watch random youtube videos to learn, you can do that for free by yourself. Very poor in every respect., stay away.

I am currently studying with CAL and have found the course and online format excellent and easy to follow with the help of course guidance counselors make it that much easier if need be.currently work full time over 60 hours a week and it's good to log on and start again where I have left off or when i have free time.

The college for adult learning is a great learning experience. The process is simple and supported the whole way. So much help available to you if you need it and the support team is only an email away. Hayley is professional and very knowledgeable and always ready to answer any question no matter how simple or complex. The learning coaches are all amazing, in particular Tom. They really do go the extra mile It's simple to get one on one time whether you just need a 15 minute consult or a half hour zoom meeting. They make the time so that you can get the most out of your learning experience. It's daunting as an adult going back to study and re-skill, but the team at College for Adult Learning has you covered. I recommend the College for Adult Learning for anyone thinking about going back to study whether it's to upskill or go in a totally new direction. I have little to no experience with technology and less than 9 months in I've almost finished a double diploma. Something I never even dreamed of doing. But with the help available at the College for Adult Learning I've almost met my goal and I'm already looking for something else to study. If you're an adult looking to study for any reason, make the College for Adult Learning your go to for study.

I just complete my Diploma of Human Resource Management through CAL and could not recommend the external training provider highly enough. Marissa Litonjua was my main lecture for the two year period and she was absolutely fantastic. She was so helpful, considerate and so knowledgable. I would not of gone through my studies without her. CAL don't want to lose her trust me!!!!!I also had Kerri Waddell who at times was blunt with me and not helpful. She made me feel insecure and at times doubted why i was studying this profession. This something i think CAL needs to address as many other students i believe feel the same.Overall i have loved my studies and would recommend CAL again :)

Overall I enjoyed the study content, the assessments and the simulations with the coaches. It was getting in regular contact with the coaches that was a continuous struggle as they were very limited and it definitely slowed down my progress. Parveen was amazing and got me through the bulk of the auditing modules with being so flexible around my work hours. I found Marissa when my studies took a turn to subjects that I was not great at, business and finance, and she guided me through so well that I need not have bothered freaking out. Marissa is thorough in her teaching and patient and was able to effortlessly stop me from over thinking and help me to understand what my next move is when it seemed my brain may not cope :) It is a bit sad to know I will not be in regular contact with her anymore.

A fantastic, supportive team of people who work with you to guide you through the course and are very prompt with responses to questions and queries. There are a few technical niggles, of course, as with any online system, but it is reassuring to see how well these issues are handled. I particularly want to give credit to Kerri Waddell who is enthusiastic and understanding of difficulties. Can't wait to keep moving forward with the program.

Don't sign up to this college if you are expecting a teacher to be available during the day you'd like.To schedule a call with a teacher, you have to wait at least 5 days. You are studying around their schedule and not yours like was initially stated on the first phone call.Emails go unanswered for days and then when they finally get answered, the response does not answer your question. Again, something I was not expecting. It seems time wasting with having to wait for answers.Chat function is useless as they just tell you to schedule a call.During the course, you do little 'assignments' but there are zero examples to help you along with this.Videos are not done locally and just 'found' you YouTube.All the above is delaying my studying. I work full-time and now have to work around a teachers schedule instead of working off my schedule.Initially I was told that I would only have to study 4-6 hours a week and I would be done in a year. It took me 6 months to complete one subject due to the extensive assignments required and the way the teachers want everything worded. It must be written exactly how they want, otherwise, you'll have to keep making changes.In reality, the study itself doesn't take long, the assignments take months to complete!I've asked to pull out and be refunded but you're unable to be refunded. I'm really unhappy with this course.I work abroad a lot so find it difficult to study during this time as it is 24/7 work when away.I have asked to pay for the subject I Have done and be refunded on the rest but apparently that is an option and they only allow you do to this if you do it within the first 30 days. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance in the first 30 days. I had to make an unexpected trip overseas which delayed me logging in again.I have used my full differal of 3 months with travel coming up.How do we get a refund outside the 30days? Can I just pay for the pathway course and pull out of the diploma?

I signed up with CAL to study the Double Diploma of Business Administration and HR. They advertised, “you will work directly with your own individual learning coach“ and receive “Expert and up-to-date content”. Unfortunately, I experienced multiple documents that were out-of-date including unit assessments. When I brought this to their attention, they were unapologetic regarding my time spent following this up, after I had already completing assignments to the best of my ability using content they provided. The student portal had a notice that updates were taking place, however it was not clear as to which documents were being updated. The coaches are friendly, however, I had three different coaches telling me three different requirements for a unit assessment. CAL did not facilitate an online learning environment that they advertised in this regard. I had all intentions on completing my study with CAL and had no issues with the workload itself. I do not recommend CAL and would suggest if you do sign up and have any regrets, to utilise the 30 day money back guarantee straight away. I have since withdrawn from the courses because of the ongoing issues with course content being out of date and an inconsistent coaching approach. After expressing my concerns to the institution and application to withdraw, it took several negotiations with senior management to reach an agreement of a partial refund. I will continue to actively pursue study with a more reputable institution.

Terrible experience. Scam after 30 days you don’t get your money back. Site incredibly difficult to navigate. Case studies in other sections outside of assessments with no clear direction on how to find. Limited support. Coach calls back 1-2 days after booking. Do not waste your money and if you do you can’t say you were not warned. The idea seems good but their coaches aren’t in house so you can’t chat to them for a quick simple question to help progress.

I found my whole experience with CAL to be a positive one. It's been many years since I have been in a "school" environment, so it took some discipline to get through this course. I set myself a 2 hour minimum study period each day which took a fair bit of effort and focus, as I work full-time plus have a family to look after. It was hard initially, but after a couple of weeks, I found my rhythm and it was smooth sailing after that. I also didn't put any pressure on myself-if I had a bad day at work-I didn't touch any study as I found no joy when I hit the books in that frame of mind, and that made it hard work. So, I found giving study a miss for one or two days actually beneficial, and when I did go back, I was more involved and interested in my course than before. I have nothing but praise for the support I received from the whole team at CAL - from the admin staff to the tutors. They responded quickly and the coaching calls helped me to get to the next questions/units quickly. A big thank you to each of you for the part you played in helping me achieve a long-held goal. I highly recommend CAL to anybody who is looking to take on some study. The content is laid out well and easily followed. The exercises for each topic and the assessments went a long way in ensuring that the information absorbed was drilled home.

CAL provided a great opportunity to learn at your own pace. I would highly recommend their Diploma of Project Management if you are new to the field and looking for an opportunity to learn as you do. The Diploma greatly supported the project I was working on at the time, running me through all the steps as I implemented them.

I have just completed a double diploma with CAL. I found all of the staff there very supportive indeed and did not experience any rudeness whatsoever. Unforeseen circumstances meant that i had to request an extension , CAL were very professional in their response and understanding. Studying online is not for everyone and can be difficult if you are returning back to study after a long period. However CAL are there to support you it just takes a little bit of time to get a response from your coach, but once you are speaking with them they clarify and help you with your course work. I would recommend sourcing a study group either students from CAL or somewhere else where you can bounce ideas off each other regarding the course. This will help you as you work through the self directed learning and complete your tasks and activities in the course.Thanks to all the team at CAL who helped me through my course and got me to the end.

I really enjoy my studies at the college of Adult Learning, ( I am studying the double Diploma in Human Resources and Leadership Management)the trainers are helpful and very easy to talk to. It’s taken me a bit longer to complete than expected but I can go at my own pace and I now book regular coaching calls to keep me active in my studies. Over all, I’m really happy I choose this course and this college.

All the coaches and staff at CAL have been very helpful and the studies have been great as they provide all the text books and study resources that I need to understand all processes and regulations involved in the field I am pursuing.

I recently completed the Double Diploma in Project Management | Leadership and Management. From my initial enquiry and dealings with Tristan who was super helpful, informative and supportive, through to starting the course with the help of Student engagement coach David who helped me every step of the way and checked in to see how I was getting on, The College for Adult Learning was a fantastic learning experience which exceeded my expectations. With each Unit completed the next would be unlocked straight away and marked within the times stated (generally in half the time). The feedback from the coaches was the best of all always super encouraging and supportive but also included much needed advice in areas that may require extra study or focus. Anything I was unsure of I simply booked a time that suited me for a coach to call me to discuss anything I was unsure about. I highly rate and recommend CAL and look forward to studying with them again in the near future! Thanks so much guys !!

Staff are very rude. Takes them a few days to reply to emails. They don’t check in on their students, their response is we don’t like to bother them. They make out that it’s your fault when you try and cancel. DO NOT STUDY HERE.
